The Biblical record

Begin with the key events.

Read from top to bottom. Open an event for passages, people, places, and the next step. Entries spanning a period can overlap; the numbers guide reading rather than measure time.

Sources & method

Keep the text and the research in view.

1. Begin with Scripture

Each event links to its KJV passages. Summaries are local reading aids. Open the surrounding chapters to check the words, audience, and context.

2. Identify the calculation

The genealogy chart uses stated ages and shows its relative-year assumptions. The kings comparison cites regnal statements directly. Neither assigns an unsupported BC/AD date.

3. Recognize historical research

Adams’s 1881 chart inspired the wider visual connections. Its Ussher-based dates and historical interpretations are a research source rather than Biblical text or official ministry teaching.

Biblical sequence is shown first. Judges, prophetic ministries, and some events in the Gospels overlap or have uncertain placement; specific notes identify those limits. The Gospels are not presented as a settled day-by-day harmony. Scripture references were checked against the public-domain KJV text. Edition differences in Biblical genealogies are outside this KJV-based comparison.
